Provided customized site-specific safety training for a union workforce on a large-scale infrastructure project in Manhattan. The training addressed project-specific hazards including confined space entry, crane operations near power lines, and working over active railroad tracks. We developed training materials in both English and Spanish to accommodate the diverse workforce and conducted training sessions during multiple shifts to minimize schedule disruption. Over 150 workers completed the training, resulting in zero recordable incidents during the project phase.

The training covered OSHA regulations for construction supervisors, including their legal responsibilities, hazard identification, accident investigation procedures, and how to conduct effective safety meetings. The program included both classroom instruction and practical field exercises. Upon completion, 25 supervisors received competent person certification, strengthening the company’s safety culture and reducing their experience modification rate.
